Lucy Thomas Hall

Mrs. LUCY THOMAS HALL, age 87, died at her home in Proctor Monday, February 7th [1938]. She was born in Owsley county August 19, 1850 [to Joseph Thomas and Elizabeth Brewer] and was married to Wm. HALL [died June 25, 1923] of Owsley county in 1868. For the past thirty-five years she has been a resident of Proctor. Surviving her are five of eleven children: Albert HALL, of Congleton; James HALL, Proctor, Winslow HALL, Proctor, Mrs. Belle EVANS and W. R. HALL both of Washington, D.C.; twelve grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock by Rev. Luther NEWNAM.

Burial was in the Proctor cemetery [Beattyville, Lee County, KY]
