Fred Pryse


Fred was in the Civilian Conservation Corps stationed at Carlisle, Kentucky from 1935 to 1939. He enlisted in the Army in 1941 and was honorably discharged on June 19, 1945, as a Staff Sergeant.

Fred Worked as a district manager for Georgia-Pacific Lumber Company and worked in other capacities for Georgia-Pacific in Georgia, New York, Michigan, Ohio, and California. Later he owned a restaurant and pool hall in Sacramento, California.

He was five foot 10 inches tall, light complexion, light hair and blue eyes. He was the 4th great grandson of Daniel Boone and Rebecca Morgan Bryan.
